HOPE Helping Older People Engage

A partnership of 5 local Housing Associations including Abertay, Caledonia, Hillcrest, Home Scotland and Sanctuary has been developed with funding from the Integrated Care Fund to support and promote independent living in communities across Dundee.

This is a free service for people over 55 years old living in the Dundee area.

Our Community Engagement Workers can assist or signpost to services such as:
• Welfare/benefit checks.
• Helping you look at other housing options if you feel you need to move.
• OT aids and adaptations to help you live at home independently.
• Connecting you to activities or events in your area.
• Community alarm.
• Meal service.
• Befriending.

You can meet your Community Engagement Worker in the comfort of your own home on a day and time that suits you. The service is open to people who own their own homes as well as people who rent.

Here are just a few comment from people who have been involved with the HOPE Project
