Caledonia Housing Association is seeking to appoint Board Members to serve on our Management Board.

Caledonia Housing Association’s Board has a major role to play in developing our strategy, direction, business objectives and customer focus. As a Board Member, you will be part of the main decision-making body of the Association and provides a great opportunity to help make a real difference to delivering service improvements and benefits for communities across Perth and Kinross, Dundee, Fife, Angus and the Highlands.

We are a successful, modern housing association, recognised as one of the larger housing associations in Scotland. We have a strong and growing reputation and scooped the award for ‘Housing Association of the Year 2014’ at last year’s Scottish Home Awards.
Candidates for the role will be able to demonstrate their ability to make a significant contribution at board level. We are particularly interested in receiving applications from candidates with experience in any of the following areas:

  • Financial and audit
  • Strategic estates development
  • Social enterprise
  • Community development and engagement
  • Care and support
  • Health and safety

Caledonia’s Management Board currently sits 10 times a year, and members are also invited to attend to our Business Planning Strategy Away Days.

This role is unremunerated, none of the Association’s Management Board Members are salaried, but reasonable expenses will be paid.
