Meet our Apprentices
Date Posted: 21st of May 2015
In the run up to the Apprentice Challenge which is taking place at the SFHA's annual conference on 3 and 4 June, the SFHA will be introducing the young people who are taking part in the challenge.
Rose Nicol and Stephanie McGowan are our two apprentices here at Caledonia.
See what Rose and Stephanie have to say:
Rose Nicoll, 17, customer services apprentice, Caledonia Housing Association
"I chose to do this apprenticeship as housing is a busy and vibrant sector. I wanted to increase my customer service and admin skills whilst being able to complete an SVQ.
"I have enjoyed the fact that the role is varied and no two days are the same. I am developing customer service skills and am learning about housing and its associated admin.
"Having enjoyed working within housing, I hope to continue in this sector. I would like to be able to use the many skills I am learning and put them to good use."
Stephanie McGowan, 17, finance apprentice, Caledonia Housing Association
"I chose to do the apprenticeship as I wanted to gain experience and get an SVQ in administration.
"I have really enjoyed meeting all my colleagues. In the future I would like to go to college to further my education and become a medic in the British army."
