About Us

Caledonia Housing Association is one of Scotland’s largest housing associations, providing over 5,500 high quality affordable social rented homes and a wide range of associated customer centred services. Factoring services are also a key element of our work, with these being delivered for over 2,300 homeowner customers.

We have ambitious plans to continue to provide more new homes, invest in our existing homes and improve the services we deliver.  These aims flow from our business vision – Homes and Services that make life better’.  You can find out more about our Vision, Mission, and Guiding Principles below .

Our homes and services are provided over a large and diverse geographical area, now covering eight local authorities:

  Perth and Kinross

Dundee

Angus

Fife

Highlands

West & East Dunbartonshire

North Lanarkshire

A further 512 social rented homes are owned and managed in the Renton area of West Dunbartonshire by Cordale Housing Association who subsidiary of Caledonia Housing Association.  

We cater for many diverse needs, providing affordable homes for families, couples and single people, as well as supported accommodation, retirement, very sheltered and amenity housing, and other specially adapted properties. We also provide homes for low-cost home ownership. 

Caledonia Housing Association is also a Registered Social Landlord and Charity, employing nearly 200 people in a wide variety of roles. We are governed by our voluntary Management Board who work closely with the team members responsible for managing the Association and delivering our services on a day to day basis. We have been named as one of the top 50 companies in Scotland to work for and one of the top 25 housing associations in the UK by Best Companies 

All Scottish Registered Social Landlords have their performance monitored by the Scottish Housing Regulator (SHR). They currently assess Caledonia as being a Registered Social Landlord of systemic importance that is compliant with all regulatory requirements.
