Meet Our Executive Management Team

At Caledonia we have a highly dedicated and customer focussed team of nearly 200 people. Our team members aim to achieve their best for our tenants and other customers through our ‘Keep it Simple, Keep it Personal, Make it Right’ approach.          

Our experienced Executive Management Team provide support, guidance and leadership for our team members. They also work closely with our Management Board to ensure that we stay on track with the achievement of our strategic aims, provide excellent homes and services and maintain Caledonia’s position as one of Scotland’s leading providers of affordable housing.  

Julie Cosgrove

Chief Executive

Julie has been the Chief Executive of Caledonia since our formation back in 2011 and has overseen a period of significant growth and transformation in the period since Julie leads our Executive Management Team and works closely with our Management Board to provide the leadership and strategy development that is key to delivering high standards in the services that we provide as well as strong business results.  

Tim Calderbank

Director of Customer Services

Tim leads the Association’s Customer Services Directorate and is focused on delivering high performing customer facing services that are valued by our tenants and meet their needs and expectationsTim has been in his current role with Caledonia for 12 years and has wide ranging experience of working in senior roles within the social housing sector across the UK.

Garry Savage

Director of Strategy and Innovation

Garry has been with Caledonia since the start and has 24 years experience in a range of executive leadership positionsIn his current role, Garry is responsible for driving business and service  improvement across the Association through our ICT strategy and digital services, service improvement programme and business planning and development processes 

Barry Johnstone

Director of People 

Barry joined the Caledonia Executive Management Team in 2014. He has a wealth of experience in the social hosing sector as well as being a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development.   Barry’s key focus is on developing our people and culture to drive strong business and customer performance.  This includes responsibility for human resource management, organisational development, and our health, safety and wellbeing arrangements. 

Lesley Janes

Interim Director of Finance

Lesley joined Caledonia in June 2020 and currently leads the Association’s Finance team. Lesley has been a qualified Chartered Accountant for 14 years and her prior career has been spent in a variety of sectors from financial services to local authority. Central to Lesley’s responsibilities is the implementation of financial management arrangements that support both our day-today and strategic objectives.
