We recently invested in an upgrade to our e-learning platform, which allows all colleagues to access a wide range of on-line courses and webinars. When you join Caledonia, you will be allocated some core training as part of your induction, which is designed to help keep you safe when working on site as well as on line. We are continually reviewing and refreshing our offer to help keep us all up to date.
In addition to our e-learning offer, we also have a yearly learning calendar offering a variety of virtual and in person training events. These events are arranged and scheduled following feedback from our managers, employee surveys, Your Voice and individual Personal Learning Plans. Some of the courses we have scheduled so far this year are; mental health first aid, mental health awareness, emergency first aid, equality, diversity and inclusion and communication skills.
Our colleagues can also apply for sponsorship to complete professional development within their roles or to support progression. We offer a wide range of opportunities from completing role specific qualifications such as Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) to development qualifications such as Chartered Management Institute (CMI).
