Become an Association Member

We are a registered Scottish Charity and our main aim is to provide high quality housing that is affordable for those who need it, together with a range of person centred housing services. We are also a company limited by guarantee and as such are accountable to our shareholding members. We encourage all tenants, residents and service users to become members.  

In general, membership is for anyone, over the age of 16, who has an interest in our activities and supports our aims and objectives.  This includes our tenants and other service users, members of the wider community as well as local groups and organisations who share an interest in our work.  

Our Rules provide further information about conditions of membership, and the limited reasons why someone may not be eligible. 

  • Members can stand for election to the Management Board. 
  • Members are invited to attend the Annual General Meeting (AGM), normally held in September. 
  • At the AGM, members are able to vote on Board Member elections or other constitutional matters. 

Lifetime membership costs just £1.00.  All members hold one share in the Association.
