Caledonia Named Housing Association Of The Year In Double Win At Scottish Home Awards
Caledonia Housing Association (CHA) has been named Housing Association of the Year at the 2025 Scottish Home Awards – a top accolade celebrating excellence and innovation across Scotland’s social housing sector.
In addition to this prestigious title, CHA received the Community Contribution Award.
The Community Contribution Award highlights outstanding dedication and impactful work by housing associations in their communities. It recognises CHA’s £12,000 community fund, which supported local organisations and directly impacted tenants’ lives as part of its Giving Back initiatives. The award also acknowledges CHA’s commitment to volunteering, community engagement, the provision of accessible housing, and partnerships that offer tenants energy-saving support and financial assistance.
Julie Cosgrove, Chief Executive of Caledonia Housing Association, said: “Being named Housing Association of the Year is a proud moment for everyone at Caledonia. This award reflects the dedication, innovation and impact of our talented team – all driven by a shared commitment to delivering more affordable, sustainable homes and making a real difference in people’s lives.
“We’re also thrilled to be recognised for our community impact which recognises the breadth of the important work we do across the country to support our tenants and communities.”
Allan Jones, Chair of Caledonia Housing Association, added: “These awards recognise the dedication, compassion and ambition that define Caledonia. From supporting local organisations to delivering outstanding new homes, we remain focused on delivering positive change that matters.”
